The special Vesak celebrations organized by the Police and the Armed Forces in the Jaffna District were officially inaugurated today – on Saturday evening _ 30 May 2026, by the Hon. Governor of the Northern Province, N. Vethanayahan. The Governor commenced the event by ceremonially switching on the illuminated decorations of the Vesak Zone established
