Mission:

Facilitating effective and efficient Provincial Administration and providing support for Good Governance and Development of the Northern Provincial Council of Sri Lanka.

Function

• Providing necessary support to preserve the rights and privileges of the Councilors.
• Organizing of the Council sittings & other related activities.
•  Holding the Committee meetings and submitting the decisions to the Council.
•  Publishing the official reports of the Provincial sessions and activities.
• Taking appropriate actions on the recommendations and Resolutions adopted at the sittings of the Northern Provincial Council and Communicating them to the relevant authorities.
•  Providing services, facilities and arrangements to the Councilors and Staff of the Provincial Council.
• Paying Salaries and allowances for the members of the Provincial Council and staff.
• Organizing Capacity building programs to all concerned.
• Maintaining Knowledge, information & Documentation resource Center.
• Managing Administrative, Logistical aspects for smooth functioning of the Council.
• Maintaining and developing cordial inter intra relationship and support with other related Authorities & Agencies.
• Providing suitable Library facilities to the Members and Officers of the Provincial Council.
