The Hon. Governor of the Northern Province, N. Vethanayahan, made a sudden inspection visit today – on Friday 31 July 2026, to the Northern Provincial Road Passenger Transport Authority in Kilinochchi.
During the visit, the Hon. Governor met and spoke individually with each of the officers working at the Authority. He also inquired about the practical issues they face in carrying out their duties and their needs.
During this inspection visit, the Chairman of the Road Passenger Transport Authority, Engineer S. Vimaleswaran, along with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager of the Authority accompanied the Governor.
