As the initial step of releasing 62 acres of public lands surrounding the Kankesanthurai Presidential Palace, the process of identifying the lands has begun with the participation of Governor of Northern Province Dr. Suren Raghavan today (04).
The activities of measuring and dividing the 62 acres of land into four zones and handing over to the public will take place today, tomorrow and forthcoming Monday. The Governor said that those who own their lands within this area can contact the Tellipalai Divisional Secretariat to identify their lands and conduct measurement.
