The inaugural event of the operation of the incubator machine, which can simultaneously hatch 15,000 eggs installed at the Atchuveli Poultry Farm, took place on 19 April 2021 at 9.00 am.
Hon. Governor of Northern Province Mrs. PSM Charles attended this event as Chief Guest and started the machine. The event was also attended by the Chief Secretary of the Northern Province, the Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Provincial Director of Agriculture, and officials from the Department of Agriculture.
The Hon’ble Governor also inquired about the machine and its processes and overviewed the operations of the farm. She also promised to provide necessary assistance for the commercial production of the farm.
