Sri Lankan Ambassadors from foreign countries and officers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs paid a visit Jaffna District on 18.12.2022. During their programme schedule, they have paid visit to the Handloom weaving Vocational Training Centre of the Department of Industries Northern Province which is located in Siruppiddy village.
They had a discussion with weavers and talk about the present gaps that they are facing to improve their business. Further, they appreciated their human effort of products and they bought their products by showing highly interest. The total trade of the event was LKR. 67,000.00.
