A meeting and discussion between the Honorable Governor of Northern Province BSM Charles and Defense Secretary General Kamal Gunaratne was held at the Defense Secretariat today.
Defense Secretary General Kamal Gunaratne has assured the Honorable Governor of Northern Province that he will investigate and send recommendations to the concerned parties as per the request made by the Honorable Governor of Northern Province regarding the release of civilian lands owned by the security forces in the North for resettlement and agricultural activities.
