The Honorable Governor of the Northern Province BSM Charles met and discussed with the Minister of Health Dr. Ramesh Patirana today (05.03.2024) at the Ministry of Health located at Suvaseripaya, Colombo.
The Health Minister was briefed by the Honorable Governor of the Northern Province regarding the challenges faced by the health sector due to lack of manpower for the health sector in the Northern Province. During this meeting, Health Minister Dr. Ramesh Pathirana assured the Honorable Governor of the Northern Province that a solution would be found within the next few months regarding the vacancies in the North.
