The opening ceremonies of new school buildings, constructed in Northern Province under the funds of PSDG, NSBS and ONUR were held on 28th and 29th July 2020. The Governor of Northern Province Hon. Mrs. P.S.M. Charles graced these occasions as Chief Guest and declared open the buildings.
Chief Secretary, Northern Province Mr. A. Pathinathan, Secretary of Provincial Education Ministry L.Ilangovan and other relevant officials were participated in these events.
1. The classroom building of Mn/Moonrampiddy GTMS
The new classroom building of Mn/Moonrampiddy GTMS, constructed at a cost of Rs.10.43 Mn under the PSDG fund for the year 2019 was declared open by Hon. Governor on 28th July 2020.
2. The classroom building of Mn/Parikarakandal GTMS
The new classroom building of Mn/Parikarakandal GTMS, constructed at a cost of Rs.23.933 Mn under the NSBS fund for the year 2019 was declared open by Hon. Governor on 28th July 2020.
3. The classroom building of V/Suntharapuram Saraswathy Vidyalayam
The new classroom building of V/Suntharapuram Saraswathy Vidyalayam, constructed at a cost of Rs.5.0 Mn under the ONUR fund for the year 2019 was declared open by Hon. Governor on 29th July 2020.
4. The classroom building of V/Maravankulam Barathidasan Vidyalayam
The new classroom building of V/ Maravankulam Barathidasan Vidyalayam, constructed at a cost of Rs.21.729 Mn under the NSBS fund for the year 2019 was declared open by Hon. Governor on 29th July 2020.
