The Northern International Trade Fair – 2026, which serves as an important platform for showcasing the industrial ventures, manufactured products and entrepreneurial potential of the Northern Province, while also creating market opportunities and investment linkages, was visited in person by the Hon. Governor of the Northern Province, N. Vethanayahan, who engaged in discussions with the entrepreneurs participating in the exhibition.
Organized by the Northern Chamber of Industries, the Northern International Trade Fair – 2026 is being held at the Thiruvalluvar Cultural Centre in Jaffna and the Hon. Governor visited the exhibition premises yesterday – on Saturday 29 August 2026 and saw the exhibition stalls.
At this exhibition, which was officially inaugurated by the Governor the day before yesterday – on Friday 28 August 2026, entrepreneurs from various parts of the Northern Province are showcasing their products and services.
During his visit to the exhibition stalls, the Governor inquired from the participating entrepreneurs about their products, the current status of their business ventures, marketing opportunities and the challenges they face. He also exchanged views with them on opportunities to expand production capacity, reach new markets and take their business ventures to the next level.
The Northern International Trade Fair – 2026 is scheduled to conclude today – on Sunday 30 August 2026.
