G.Ehanthan has been appointed as the Director of the Provincial Department of Sports – Northern Province by the Hon. Governor of the Northern Province, N. Vethanayahan.
The appointment letter was issued today – on Friday, 11 September 2026, at the Governor’s Secretariat. The Secretary to the Governor of the Northern Province, Sivapathasundaram Sathiyaseelan also participated in the event.
His appointment has been made effective from Monday, 14.09.2026.
G.Ehanthan, who had been serving as the Assistant Secretary at the Governor’s Secretariat, has been appointed to fill the vacancy created following the release of B. Muhunthan, who served as the Director of the Provincial Department of Sports – Northern Province to the Central Government Service.
