Many complaints regarding gender unbalanced and the sexual harassment against women in the provincial education sector have been put forward to Governor of Northern Province. Accordingly, Governor Suren Raghavan has taken a step to form an Ombudsman Commission to investigate the issues and provide solutions.
This commission consists of 3 members including two women and one of them is a proponent of complainants.
In the meanwhile, in order to improve the education sector of the Northern Province, the Governor has also decided to establish a Senior Intellectuals Committee to provide their advice and guidance to the Northern Province Education Ministry.
