An event of issuing appointment letters to the 215 diploma teachers organized by Provincial Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth Affairs was held under the patronage of Governor of Northern Province Dr. Suren Raghavan at the auditorium of Jaffna Public Library today (31).
In his address, Governor said that primary education is very important. This province gives the education in your hands for the coming generation to bring back the people who are on the brink of this fallen nation. Therefore, I request you to take on this responsibility with devotion and social purpose to rebuild the nation.
It should be noted that 148 English teachers (primary) and 67 physical education teachers received their appointment letters from the Governor.
