Jaffna District Coordinating Committee meeting was held at the District Secretariat Auditorium.
Leaders of government institutions, People’s representatives, and representatives of civil organizations attended the Coordinating committee meeting.the meeting was led by the DCC chairman Minister Douglas Devananda and the Co-Chairman Northern Province Governor Mrs. P.S.M. Charles. During this meeting, the public infrastructure development of Jaffna district, other development programmes expected to be implemented by the government
The French Ambassador to Sri Lanka Mr. Jean Francois Pactet has stated that the French Government will provide full support to the Northern Province.
He conveyed this message during his meeting with the Governor Mrs. P.S.M. Charles. Also he stated that he is happy with the development of the general infrastructure and other development processes of the people of the northern region and that the French Government will provide full support to improve the educational facilities of the children
