The sacred consecration ceremony and noon alms-giving of the historically famous Jaffna Shri Naga Vihara held yesterday (01.11.2026) in the temple premises. The Governor of Northern Province, N. Vethanayahan took part in the event held with the guidance of Ven. Shri Vimala Thero, and engaged in religious observances.
The event was attended by many higher officials including the Consul General of India Sai Murali, Deputy Inspector General of Police for Jaffna District and Jaffna Divisional Secretary. Jointly organized by tri-forces and Department of Police and Prisons, the event had been coordinated under the special patronage of Nirmal Kubesinghe.
