If there are any requests to be present in the Geneva session on behalf of the People, anybody can submit them in written form – Governor of Northern Province

The 40th Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council has been started on 25th February.

The Governor of Northern Province Dr. Suren Raghavan has been appointed by HE the President Maithripala Sirisena to participate in the session on behalf of Government of Sri Lanka.

To present at the session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva, public or public organizations can directly submit their requests in written format on the forthcoming Wednesday (13) in the Governor’s Public Day event which will be held at Chief Minister’s Secretariat, Northern Province, Kaithady, Jaffna.

It should be noted that considering the welfare of the people, a separate section will be set up to acquire requests.
