Provincial Department of Indigenous Medicine, Northern Province and special Education Unit of Zonal Educational Office, Jaffna jointly organized ‘World Autism Awareness Day – 2019’ on 4th of April, 2019 at J/ Kopay Maha Vidyalayam. It was presided by Deputy Educational Director (Education and Management) and the function was attended by the Provincial Commissioner of Indigenous Medicine – Northern Province as the Chief Guest.
The events of the day included awareness on Autism and Play Yoga demonstrations by the Provincial Department of Indigenous Medicine, Northern Province and differently talented students presented cultural events.
