This workshop was held for 2 days with the support of LEADS from 26th to 27th September 2024 at Tilko Hotel, Jaffna. The workshop was kicked-off by Mrs. Sujievaa Sivathas, Commissioner, Department of Probation, NP together with respected Mr.L.Ilaangovan, Chief Secretary, NP and Mr.J.S.Arulraj, Secretary, Ministry of Health. Mr. Selvakunabalan, Additional Legal Draughtsman, Justice Ministry acted as a prime resource person.
At this work shop, the practical issues with the current statutes for CDCs that have been practiced were discussed in the notion of being implemented further. Senior Probation Officers, Probation Officers, Child Development Centers’ Managers and Development Officers were actively participated in this event.
