Livelihood Assistance for Women Headed Households 2023
The event of providing livelihood assistance for women headed households in Kilinochchi district was conducted by the Ministry of Women’s Affairs, NPC presided over by Mr.P. Vageshan, Secretary, Ministry of Women’s Affairs, NPC on 18.10.2023 at the District Social Services Office.
Six beneficiaries from Mullaitivu district, seven beneficiaries from Kilinochchi district and one beneficiary each from Vavuniya and Mannar districts were provided livelihood assistances there were fifteen beneficiaries at together.
The beneficiaries thanked the Northern Provincial Council for uplifting their living standards and they are continuously earning out of those assistances with confidence.
Mrs.H.Sathiyajeevitha, Assistant District Secretary, Kilinochchi district (Headquarters), Mr.S.Jeyanantharasa, District Social Service Officer, Kilinochchi district and Ms.N.Uthayani, Women Development Officer, Kilinochchi district also graced the event with their participation.
