The opening ceremony of the new building for the Kilinochchi Siddha Central Dispensary was ceremonially held on July 11, 2025. Commissioner of the Department of Indigenous Medicine Dr. T. Sarvananthan chaired the event.
The Hon. Governor of the Northern Province N. Vethanayagan participated as the chief Guest and officially declared open the new building. Mrs. Thanuja Murugeson, Chief Secretary of the Northern Province, attended the event as the Special Guest.
Mrs. P. Jayarani, Secretary of the Northern Provincial Ministry of Health, and Mr. S. Muralitharan, District Secretary of Kilinochchi also participated as Guests of Honour.
Many departmental officials, medical officers, well-wishers, and public participated the event.
It is noteworthy that this new building was constructed under the PSDG project with a funding of Rs. 56 million.
