The opening ceremony of Northern Provincial Heritage Centre was held on 18th October 2018. Chief Minister of Northern Province CV Wigneswaran participated as Chief Guest and ceremonially declared open the Heritage Centre.
The event was organized by the Department of Cultural Affairs and Minister of Education and Cultural Affairs Dr.K.Saraveswaran presided over it.
This centre is located at Nallur CCTM School. A discussion was also held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Wigneswaran.
Secretary of Education Ministry S.Sathiyaseelan, Ass. Director of Education P.Abiramy and high ranking officials also participated in this event.
