Opening ceremony of newly constructed Central Siddha Dispensary Point Pedro under PSDG was ceremonially opened by Hon Governor, Northern Province on 9th July 2024.One hundred and twenty perches of land in Thondaimanaru was donated by Mrs. Jayadevi Nagenthiran to Provincial Department of Indigenous Medicine NP for this construction work. Programme was chaired by Provincial Commissioner of Department of Indigenous Medicine, Northern Province. Secretary and Assistant Secretary Ministry of health, Indigenous Medicine, Probation and child care services, Northern Province, Deputy Provincial Commissioner Provincial Department of Indigenous Medicine, Supervisory Community Medical Officer, Medical Superintendent -Base Siddha Hospital -Killinochchci, Medical Officer In charge of Central Siddha Dispensary- Point Pedro, Medical Officers ,Accountant ,Administrative officer and office Staffs of Provincial Department of Indigenous Medicine NP, Hospital Staffs, Divisional Secretary- Point Pedro, Police OIC – Valvettithurai, religious leaders from the Selvasannithi Temple and well-wishers from the area participated and graced the event .After delivering the guests speeches. herbal nurseries were planted in the hospital ground.
