On the instructions of Governor of Northern Province Dr. Suren Raghavan, an awareness seminar to recruit unemployed youths in the Northern Province to join the National Employees’ Force and to provide NVQ certificates under the project of Professionalism and Career Development will be held this month.
The seminar will be conducted at each District Secretariat of the province under the aegis of Governor’s Secretariat, District Secretariats and Hightec Lanka International. Anyone interested can participate in this seminar which covers the courses for the electrician, heavy-vehicle operator, constructor, mechanic, A/C technician, Auto Mobile, and Auto Electrical Technician.
It should be noted that those who have been registered in the Divisional Secretariats and who have failed to register can obtain employment by participating in the workshops which will be held in the respective District Secretariats.
