The Tree planting programme was held on the 20th of April 2023, Thursday at the auspicious time, 6.38 am in the premises of Northern Provincial Council, headed by the Chief Secretary in order to commemorate the prosperity of the country as per the circular of the Ministry of Agriculture on the purpose of promoting the prosperity of the country.
In this event, Secretaries, Deputy Chief Secretaries, the Commissioner of the Provincial Revenue Department, Assistant Chief Secretaries, Administrative Officers and other officers also participated.
20 trees were planted including Pongamia Pinnata, Terminalia elliptica, Madhuca longifolia, Casuarina.
