In the National Student Parliamentary Elections for 2024 which was held according to the Student Parliamentary Constituency of the Parliament of Sri Lanka. Nagarasa Thilaksan, a student of V / Kalmadu Maha Vidyalayam was appointed as Deputy Speaker and Deputy Minister for Building Good Relations between Schools, Mohan Arjun, a student of J/ Hartley College. who represented North Province were also selected in the 2024 National Student Parliamentary Elections of the Parliament of Sri Lanka. On this occasion, students were elected to the National Student Parliament to represent all 9 provinces.
