Leaders of government institutions, People’s representatives, and representatives of civil organizations attended the Coordinating committee meeting.the meeting was led by the DCC chairman Minister Douglas Devananda and the Co-Chairman Northern Province Governor Mrs. P.S.M. Charles.
During this meeting, the public infrastructure development of Jaffna district, other development programmes expected to be implemented by the government and general issues affecting the people were discussed in detail.
These discussions enabled to take urgent measures to improve the livelihood of the people in Jaffna district and to provide solutions to the problems presented by the people.
