Hon. Governor of the Northern Province, N. Vethanayagan, has extended his congratulations to Mas. Viknesh Akash, a student of J/Hartley College, for his exceptional performance as a bowler in the Sri Lanka Under-17 cricket team.
The Governor personally contacted the student by phone on the yesterday evening (25th of November 2024) to commend him for his outstanding achievement, in which he secured five wickets during the Sri Lanka vs. Bangladesh Under-17 match. During the conversation, the Governor encouraged Akash to continue excelling and expressed his hopes for him to represent the national team in the future.
