Batik Training Service Centre – Punguduthivu, Jaffna was the second center established on par with the “Saubhagyaye Dekma” policy statement and the concept of function country with effective citizens and a content family of the 200 Batik training centers.
An event to launch the Batik training center and to hand over the equipment was held under the chairmanship of Secretary of Provincial Ministry of Women’s Affair Mrs.Roobiny Varathalingam on 05th February 2021 at 8.30 am.
Hon. State Minister of Batik, Handloom Fabric & Local Apparel Products Mr. Dayasiri Jayasekara, Hon. Governor of Northern Province Mrs. PSM Charles, Parliamentarian Hon. Angajan Ramanathan, Govt. Agent of Jaffna District K.Magesan, relevant officials, and a large number of the public participated in this event.
