In this context, special arrangements have been made to record information regarding livestock affected by the disaster and to provide necessary emergency treatment for animals that have escaped or been injured.
In this regard, the Provincial Director of the Department of Animal Production and Health – Northern Province, Dr. S. Vaseekaran, has issued district-wise telephone numbers for public contact.
