The commencement of duties of all the Departments of the Northern Province for the year 2021 was inaugurated today (04.01.2021) at 10 am at the Governor’s Secretariat under the patronage of Hon. Governor Mrs. PSM Charles.
The event was attended by the Chief Secretary, Secretary to the Governor, Secretaries to the Ministries, Heads of the Departments, officials from Indian Embassy, high ranking officials from the 3rd Battalion and police and Government Agents and staff of the Governor’s Secretariat.
Hon. Governor officially inaugurated the duties by lighting the Mangala oil lamp and attended a small banquet organized at the event.
