A special cycling tour is set to take place under the themes “Let’s Put an End to Drugs” and “Cycling for Health,” organized by the Northern Province Tourism Bureau.

Dr. J. Vivekananthan, Chairman of the Northern Province Tourism Bureau, stated that a special cycling event, titled “Sail & Ride – Tour of Jaffna”, will be held in Jaffna. Special Discussion on Aquatic Organism Farming Held Under the Co-Chairmanship of the Minister of Fisheries, Aquatic Resources and Ocean Development and the Hon.Governor of Northern Province.

Although the Northern Province possesses a highly suitable geographical location for aquatic organism farming, including sea cucumber farming, we have not yet fully utilized this potential. Therefore, appropriate sites for aquatic organism farming will be identified and allocated within the next two months through integrated field surveys conducted by all relevant departments, stated the Hon.
