The book Launch ceremony of three books, named “Gana Soundary Play”, “St Thomas vasakappu” and “Mananr Mathodda Pulavarkal Kalaignarkal” was held at Mn/ Nanattan De La Salle College on the 16th of December 2021 at 3.00 pm and the event was presided over by Mrs. Sujeeva Sivathas, Deputy Director of Department of Cultural Affairs of Ministry of Education, Cultural Affairs, Sports and Youth Affairs- Northern Province.
Rt.Rev.Dr Immanuel Fernando graced the event as the Chief guest. Also Mr.A.Pathinathan the former Chief Secretary graced as the special guest. Rev.A.Jude Croos of Vicar General of Murungan Deanery, Nanattan Rev. Father L.Surendran Rewal also graced the events as guests of honour.
The event got started with the keynote address of the Deputy Director of the Department of Cultural Affairs. Rev. Father Thamil Nesan delivered the book launch address and the introductory speech has been delivered by retired Assistant Director of Education Mr.S.David. Songs of Ganasoundary play have been also sung by the artists. Artists of Koothu and drama also participated in this event.
