As a part of the Agriculture promotion week an Bee-Keeping training program was arranged in Ulukulam Agriculture Instructor Division on 08.10.2019. During this event methodological instructions and suggestions regarding colony maintenance, separation and conservation from pest attack were given. Though, Bee-Keeping is practiced in Vavuniya District Since 2006 with the assistance of Dept. of Agriculture entrepreneurs are fewer. In order to enhance Bee-Keeping culture among entrepreneurs this training programme was arranged. Approximately 30 participants participated in the above training programme.
