A banana fiber extracting machine was distributed by Provincial Ministry of Women Affairs to Lotus Entrepreneurship Group which engages in groups of 12 women at Kannaddy Vengalacheddikulam under the scheme of Livelihood Assistance for Women’s Societies.
The machine was purchased at a cost of Rs.445,000 under the PSDG. A demo training workshop to use this machine was provided by the experts on 23rd January 2019.
