The Ministry of Education has announced that all schools in Sri Lanka will be closed from 13 March 2020 to 20 April 2020 to protect our student community from the threat of coronavirus that threatens the world. In order to assure the welfare of the students more, the Governor of the Northern Province Mrs. PSM Charles has issued a special directive to close all private tuition centres in the Northern Province until further notice.
The Governor of the Northern Province has requested the local authorities (Municipal Councils, Urban Councils and Pradeshiya Sabhas) to ensure that this order is properly implemented and that everyone should cooperate with it.
