A rumor was going about there were the food and fuel shortages in many districts of Northern Province due to the preparatory actions against the coronavirus infection in the country. As a result, people are also rushing to food cities to stockpile food items. It was brought to the attention of Governor of Northern Province Mrs. PSM Charles.
The Governor’s media unit said that there is no shortage of them in the Northern Province up to now. If necessary, speedy measures would be taken from Colombo. There’s no need to panic.
