The ‘Jaffna Viksit Bharat Run 2025’ event, organized by the Indian Consulate, was held on Sunday morning (28.09.2025) at the Thiruvalluvar Cultural Hall in Jaffna. The event was graced by the Honorable Minister of Fisheries, Aquatic Resources, and Marine Resources, R. Chandrasekaran, the Hon. Governor of the Northern Province, N. Vethanayahan, and Consul General of India, Jaffna, Sai Murali, who jointly inaugurated the run and honored the winners by presenting certificates.
The Viksit Bharat Run 2025, held simultaneously in over 150 locations worldwide, celebrates India’s journey of progress while promoting service, unity, and sustainability, connecting communities globally. The event showcased India’s progress and cultural values.
