Rear Admiral Thushara Karunathunga, Commander of the Northern Naval Area of Sri Lanka paid a courtesy call with the Hon. Governor of Northern Province, Mr. Nagalingam Vethanayagam on the 18th of November 2024 at the Governor’s Secretariat.
During the discussions, it has been highlighted the importance of naval activities in ensuring the the well-being of island communities and facilitating their transportation.
