Northern Province Tourism Bureau organized an awareness programme for travel operators and travel agents of Southern Province, on 14th August 2023 at Ruhunu Tourist Bureau conference hall. An introduction presentation regarding Tourism potentials in the Northern Province was delivered by the Director of NPTB Mr.S.Kishokkumar and a video presentation with narrations in Sinhala language was also displayed. Then a fruitful discussion held with several ideas exchanged.
This awareness programme was chaired by Mr.Channa Sri Saliya Mendis – Chairman of the Ruhunu Tourist Bureau. Mr.D.A.Heman Dharmapriya – Managing Director of the Ruhunu Tourist Bureau, representatives from various tour operators and travel agents from Hikkaduwa, Galle, Ambalangoda, Dikwella,Unawattuna and Matara and staffs from Northern and Southern Provincial Tourism Bureau also participated at the programme.
