The National AMR Focal Point and the College of Microbiologists have joined hands have organized organize an awareness program aimed at prescribers and pharmacists.
The awareness on AMR was organized by Ministry of health, Colombo on 6th November 2023 in the Provincial department of health services, NP. Dr. Rajanthi Ramachandran (Consultant, Microbiologist – Teaching Hospital, Jaffna) facilitating and organizing the program for Medical officers from Hospitals.
Recourses from Ministry of Health and faculty of Medicine Batticaloa participated delivered lectures and presentation. Nearly 45 medical officers participated in this program.
