The Secretary of the Northern Provincial Public Service Commission, Mr. Azhvapillai Siri, has announced that due to the unusual situation and natural disaster that has occurred in the country, the examinations that were to be conducted by the Northern Provincial Public Service Commission have been postponed until further notice.
The open competitive examinations for the recruitment of Grade III Agriculture Instructors and Trainee Grade positions of the Northern Provincial Council were scheduled to be held tomorrow – on Saturday, 29 November 2025, and the day after, Sunday 30.11.2025.
However, considering the current irregular weather conditions and the emergency situation, these examinations have been temporarily suspended. The new dates for the examinations will be announced later.
