The Chairman of the Pudukkudiyiruppu Pradeshiya Sabha, Velayutham Karikalan, met with the Honorable Governor of the Northern Province, N. Vethanayahan, at the Governor’s Secretariat today, Friday (18 July 2025), for discussions.
During the meeting, Chairman Velayutham Karikalan submitted a petition to the Honorable Governor outlining the needs of the Pudukkudiyiruppu Pradeshiya Sabha. He also highlighted the breakdown of vehicles and machinery within the council. In response, Governor N. Vethanayahan assured that the necessary assistance would be provided to the council as far as possible.
