Hon. Minister R. Chandrasekar, Hon. Member of Parliament J. Rajeevan and Divisional Secretary of Kandawalai Mr. Prunthakaran paid a supervisory visit to the Rural Siddha Hospital and the Provincial Herbal Village in Kalmadunagar on 3rd July 2025.
During the visit, they reviewed the functioning of the institution, the services provided, methods of revenue generation in the Provincial Herbal Village, and the challenges being faced. They also held discussions related to investment opportunities in herbal tourism.
As part of the visit, the honorable members planted saplings in the herbal village. Additionally, a project proposal for the establishment of a Non-Pharmacological Intervention Centre in the herbal village was officially handed over to the Minister.
