Governor of Northern Province Dr. Suren Raghavan said that we are in a war-torn nation. You are the children born after the war. I believe our future will be shaped by what history tells us. No matter how bitter history is, we need to build a better future.
A new building complex of Kili/Vaddakachchi Primary School was handed over to the students by Governor of Northern Province Dr. Suren Raghavan today (12). Governor said above while addressing to the gatherings.
This school was separated from Kili/Vaddakachchi Central College under 1000 school scheme. It was functioning under the two tin-roof shed. At the request of the Governor, a new classroom complex was constructed by Army’s Engineering Division at a cost of 3.6 million rupees allocated by His Excellency President Maithripala Sirisena.
Secretary to the Education Ministry L.Ilaangovan, Kilinochchi SF Commander, Zonal Director of Education, teachers, and students also participated in this event.
