Female Ward which was constructed under the Provincial Specific Development Grant was declared open on 15th of July 2021 at 10.30 am at Kilinochchi Base Siddha Hospital.
The Honourable Governor of the Northern Province Mrs.P.S.M.Charles who graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest unveiled and declared the opening of the building. Afterward, she inquired about the requirements of the Hospital to serve better service to the public.
The Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Indigenous Medicine, Probation & Child Care Services of the Northern Province, Kilinochchi District Government Agent, Commissioner of the Provincial Department of Indigenous Medicine of the Northern Province, Deputy Commissioner of the Provincial Department of Indigenous Medicine of the Northern Province, Doctors and Staff of the Department of Indigenous medicine of the Northern Province were also present at the occasion.
