On the declaration of Anti-Drug Prevention Week from 23.06.2019 – 01.07.2019, initiated by the Presidential Secretariat under the theme of Drugs free Country , various programs were organized by the Chief Secretary’s Secretariat, Ministries and Departments of Northern Province in collaboration with the District Secretariats.
According to it, on 25.06.2019, a vehicle procession from all District Secretariats moved towards to the Kilinochchi town and a public meeting was held at the Cooperative Conference Hall, Kilinochchi.
Along with presence of Governor of Northern Province Dr. Suren Raghavan, Angajan Ramanathan, MP for Jaffna & Kilinochchi Districts and President’s Coordinator for Gramasakthi and Development Projects and K. Kader Masthan, MP for Mullaitivu, Vavuniya and Mannar Districts and President’s Coordinator for Gramasakthi and Development Projects, the government authorized officials and the public were attended this meeting.
