A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed to operate the Tourist Information Centre (TIC) which is located at the Jaffna Railway Station, between the Northern Province Tourism Bureau and Northern Province Tourism Association on 18th August 2023 at Tourism Bureau office, Kaithady, Jaffna.
On behalf of the Tourism Bureau, its Chairman Mr.A.Pathinathan and President of the Tourism Association Mr.S.Sutharsan signed the MoU. According to the MoU, the Tourist Information Centre at Jaffna Railway station will be operated by the Tourism Association from 01st September 2023. Tourism Bureau will monitor the TIC operations and make sure that its services are provided at higher standards.
