Today, the people of the world celebrate this day as the Christmas festival, when the celestial god took human form to take away the sins of peoples. We are pleased to extend our best wishes to Sri Lankan Christians on this auspicious day.
“He became man and dwelt among us” – (John 1:14) is mentioned in the Bible, the day when the Lord Jesus was born as a child is celebrated as a Christmas festival. Christmas shows that Jesus is always with us.
In that way, everyone should realize and experience the liberation and redemption that Jesus Christ brought through his birth. That is true happiness. Therefore, we pray to Lord Jesus that this Christmas festival will give freedom to everyone from sufferings, sorrows, poverty, dangers of nature and diseases.
People are celebrating Christmas this time amidst various challenges as the country is slowly recovering from the massive economic crisis. May you receive the love, grace and blessings of Jesus on this day. We are delighted to wish everyone a Happy New Year.
