A meeting between the Hon. Governor of the Northern Province, N. Vethanayahan, and members of the Vavuniya Rural Women’s Organization was held this morning – on Tuesday, 11 November 2025, at the Governor’s Secretariat.
During the meeting, a reference handbook supporting efforts to combat gender-based violence arising through technology in the Northern Province was presented to the Governor. The organization also shared information gathered through their awareness programs and activities.
The Secretary to the Governor of the Northern Province, Mr. S. Sathiyaseelan, also participated in this discussion.
