The inauguration ceremony for Medical Exhibition 2019 was held at the Kilinochchi campus of the Jaffna University Agricultural Faculty on April 2, 2019. The event was organized by the Northern Province Health Ministry and the Jaffna University Medical Faculty.
Governor of Northern Province Dr Suren Raghavan participated as the Chief Guest at this occasion. Jaffna University Acting Vice Chancellor Prof. K.Mikundan, Chief Secretary, Northern Province A.Pathinathan, Secretary, Ministry of Health Northern Province S.Thiruvakaran and Kilinochchi District Government Agent Mr. S. Arumainayagam participated as guest guests.
The two-day exhibition of the Medical Faculty of Jaffna University was conducted under the categories of the basic science, recent advances in medicine, career guidance, the current challenges of health sector awareness programme for children, adulthood, youth and elders.
